Early termination of probation
Early termination of probation means asking the court to terminate probation before the court ordered term has expired. For example, if a probationer was ordered to serve five years on probation, a motion to terminate probation early would request that probation be terminated successfully after only three years. In most instances, a probationer petitions for a dismissal under Penal Code section 1203.4, "an expungement," and reduction of a felony to a misdemeanor, at the same time as the application for early termination of probation. The Law Office of David has experience with tough early termination of probation cases in Alameda County, Contra Costa County, and throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. We have helped many probationers be released from probation prior to the expiration of their term. Contact our office today for a free consultation.
