Certificate of rehabilitation
A certificate of rehabilitation pursuant to Penal Code section 4852.01 is an official judicial recognition that a felon or sex offender has been rehabilitated. If granted, a certificate of rehabilitation will relieve a sex offender of the duty to register with law enforcement and remove the offender from the online registry, Megan's Law. But it also provides many benefits for non-sex offenders, such as possible restoration of firearm rights after a pardon, restoration of ability to obtain professional licensure, and restoration of ability to serve on a jury. Reliable, compassionate, and ethical, the Law Office of David Reagan has experience with tough certificate of rehabilitation cases in Alameda County, Contra Costa County, San Francisco County, and throughout the Bay Area.
